This has to be one of our best gifts to us from Santa ever! It comes with 2 speakers - we bought an extra one and liked it so much, we just ordered an other one. You can change the song from any speaker, each speaker has volume control and on/off switch. When not in use, it displays the time. It looks sharp and the sound is unbelievable. The best part is you can move a speaker outside or basement or garage anywhere....
Compatible with HDMI !!

One of the most recent reviews on this said this product would not work with your receiver hooked up with a hdmi cable, so I was reluctant to purchase. But figured there are alot of people who have no idea what they are talking about, so I ordered anyway. I AM GLAD I DID! Here is the scoop on this awesome little black box. First off it works no problem with the receiver hooked up thru HDMI cable only. I have the sony bdve300 blu-ray/surround package which has the option to buy the EZW-T100 s-air adapter (which I did purchase separately)that allows my bdve300 system to send the wireless signal to this little black box. I plugged this little black box in , turned the power button on , it immediately paired and the radio station I was listening to on my main unit played like magic! I then took the unit to the farthest place I would listen to it (outside my house) and it played perfect. At this time I tried to use the buttons on the box which flipped thru my preset radio stations without ever programming them they were all just there! You can fast forward, stop, play dvd/cd right from this unit also. Next ran the normal tests. 1)Volume : not bad, nice clean sound, no bass, plenty of volume for me (surprised). 2) Construction : feels solid not cheap 3) Functions : played cable tv, radio, dvd/cd audio perfect(what else matters). When watching 5.1 dvd it seems to play the front speakers sound not the rear surround sound just in case anyone is curious. I love this little black box so much that I just purchased another and am considering buying a third. This is a tremendous value and do not see how anyone would give this a bad review unless they received a defective unit. Sorry for the long reveiw but felt this item took some unfair remarks and I wanted to set the record straight. Buy this item, you can't go wrong!
Great performer!

After purchasing the Sony BRAVIA DAV-HDX589W 5.1-Channel Theater System (Black), I wanted to expand the reach of my music throughout the house with no wires. This product fits the bill perfectly. It doesn't need an unobstructed path to receive the signals. In fact, I use it for the opposite side of my 3000 sq ft home, going through 4 walls and a solid floor with no problems connecting. I've used it for several months very often and I'm happy with the performance and quality of this unit. Would purchase again without a doubt.
Great small house system

I received this one night and had it set up within a half hour. This is a great system for a small house. I put the tuner in the kitchen with one speaker and a speaker in my office. They run separately with remote (its small, have a special spot to put it, I use a pretty juice glass). The sound quality is remarkable for the unit! In my office I have it mounted on the wall in a somewhat unreachable spot which is fine - remote turns it on and off and my IPOD is in the kitchen! My desktop is uncluttered. You have to buy the tuner and then supplement the two wireless speakers if you have more locations. The S-Air 10 is only speaker you need a S-Air 20 base station. I'm getting another one for the basement laundry room and for my second floor bedroom.
Worth the money

Easy to use if you read the directions and set it up accordingly.
Pros: my wife left it out in the rain for 3 days while we were out of town. Dumped the water out of it, let it dry out, works as well as it ever did.
Sound is crystal clear when you have a full signal.
Cons: You have to purchase a transmitter seperately. Volume is loud enough for indoors and outdoors on the deck but could be louder. Works well away from transmitter but more walls= less signal strength.

Worth the money.
Sony comes through

I have two Sony DAV-HDX 576WF systems (one in the family room & one in the MBR), both came with a AIRSA10 S-Air speaker. Put one each in the kitchen and study and they work great. But I wanted one in the computer room and this is the one I added. Other than the few minutes it took for the speaker and family room system to "mate," this is almost a plug and play box. I'm totally pleased with the speakers.
Great sound!

Tried other wireless systems in this price range, and this one is the best. Able to use my ancient ipod classic and my iphone on the dock.
Great sound. Easy to sync speakers. Added this speaker to an existing setup of dock and 2 speakers.
Great little speaker!

Okay, so I would like to give my thoughts and clarify some misconceptions I picked up from other reviews. First, I googled the interference problems with S-air technology and read from a guy that you had to adjust your router settings. This was easy b/c I always save this out on my desktop in a notepad file. Do yourself a favor and switch your router channel BEFORE the speaker arrives to the upper channels (I used 11, which is the highest for Linksys). I followed the instructions, which are very simple and had the unit up and running in about 5 minutes. I spent more time trying to figure out where to place the speaker, than actual set-up.

Speaker quality is great. It has a very clear, rich sound but I am by no means an audiophile. Occasionally, the speaker just kind of drops off for a sec but it's not very noticeable, unless you are really paying a lot of attention. However, I realize that anything wireless will occasionally experience these issues. Also, I was worried b/c I thought it might look/like or sound/like an alarm clock type speaker. Just to set the record straight, it clearly sounds like a speaker, no klipsch mind you but it will do fine for my needs. The construction is very solid and the low profile looks pretty smart. I tend to use this speaker mostly during movies and music, not tv or everday listening. The best comparison I could give is it sounds like a 75 watt speaker I guess.

This is one unit. Before all the comments, yes I should know that from the picture but I couldn't tell from one of the reviews I read. It said there were two speakers and while I figured it would only be one unit, I just wanted to clarify. There's one unit, consisting of a non-detachabe left and right speaker but only one unit as pictured above.

I didn't count off for this in my review b/c it has nothing to do with the quality of the product but Sony should be ashamed of themselves for making consumers buy the transmitter separately. It's wrong and leaves the customer with a bad impression of an otherwise good company and products.
